Acceptance of terms

By downloading or using Orbix, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. Orbix is operated as an independent project. These terms govern the relationship between Orbix and anyone who uses the app.

The service

Orbix is a personal subscription and recurring expense tracking tool for iOS. It allows you to log, monitor, and analyse recurring payments. It does not connect to bank accounts, payment providers, or any financial institution on your behalf. Orbix is provided as-is. While every effort is made to keep the service available and functional, no uptime or availability guarantees are made.

Accounts

An account is required to use Orbix. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for any activity that occurs under your account. Accounts may be terminated if these terms are violated. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account, or by contacting info@orbixapp.net.

Your data

All data you enter into Orbix — subscription names, costs, dates, notes, categories — belongs to you. Orbix does not claim any ownership over it. Data is stored in Supabase and used solely to deliver the app's functionality. It is not analysed, monetised, or shared.

In-app purchases & subscriptions

Orbix Pro is an optional paid subscription that unlocks additional features. It is available in two plans: monthly and yearly. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's Terms of Sale. Orbix does not process payments directly and has no access to your payment information. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your iOS device under Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period — you will retain access to Pro features until then. Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policy. Orbix cannot issue refunds directly. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support.

Free trial

Orbix Pro yearly plan may include a free trial period. During the trial, you have full access to all Pro features at no charge. The free trial converts automatically to a paid yearly subscription at the end of the trial period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Cancellation can be done at any time from Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Free trials are only available to users who have not previously subscribed to Orbix Pro. Apple determines eligibility based on your Apple ID purchase history. If you are not eligible for a trial, the standard yearly price will apply immediately upon confirmation of purchase.

Price changes

Orbix reserves the right to change subscription prices at any time. Existing subscribers will always be notified of a price change before it takes effect, in accordance with Apple's guidelines. Continuing to use the service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price. Price changes will be communicated via an in-app notice and, where required by Apple, through a direct notification to affected subscribers.

Acceptable use

Orbix is a personal tool intended for individual use. You agree not to: · Use the service for any unlawful purpose · Attempt to access, modify, or disrupt the infrastructure behind the service · Create accounts by automated means or use the service in a way that places unreasonable load on the system · Resell or sublicense access to the service

Limitation of liability

Orbix is a personal tracking tool — it does not provide financial advice, and nothing in the app should be interpreted as such. You are responsible for your own financial decisions. To the extent permitted by law, Orbix is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including data loss.

Intellectual property

The Orbix name, logo, and interface are the property of the project's creator. You may not reproduce, copy, or redistribute any part of the service without permission. Your data belongs entirely to you. See section 04.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision. For significant changes, a notice will appear in the app. Continued use of Orbix after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Barcelona, unless applicable consumer protection law requires otherwise.
